Spotted bass can often be caught up working baits along the bottom. They eat crayfish and crayfish are found around the rocky bottoms. Anglers work many different baits along the bottom with a variety of fishing rigs. They all work, but a shaky head jig and a crayfish-styled bait is tough to beat when spotted bass are feeding on crayfish along the bottom.
