Walleye

Most people don’t go south for walleye, however, Bull Shoals Lake is home to some monster walleye.  With the clear water, fishing is usually much better at low light conditions or at night for walleye.  Because the lake is so big and deep, trolling is a good way to cover some water and catch walleye here.  There is a fishable population to go along with some trophy fish, so many anglers do target these fish, but it is definitely not a big numbers lake like you can find in many of the popular walleye lakes up north.
