Houghton Lake

Houghton Lake is Michigan’s largest inland lake covering 22,000 acres.  The lake offers good fishing for a variety of fish.  Walleye and northern pike are the primary fish that anglers target here.  Smallmouth bass and largemouth bass are in the lake and there are some quality fish of both species here.  Panfish such as crappie, perch and bluegill are available too if you’re looking for some action.
