Welcome to our Cod Fishing Home Page

The cod fish can be found from Hatteras to Greenland, although, it is most often targeted by anglers from the Delmarva ports north to Maine.  They are mostly an offshore fish, but they can be found inshore at times.  Cod fish are bottom-feeders, but they will also come up to feed on mackerel, herring, shrimp, squid and other forage.  Natural baits fished on the bottom are the preferred way to catch codfish.  They are fun to catch and they taste excellent.  Cod live in very cold water.  They can be found along the northern Atlantic coast and the Pacific Northwest.  The fishing is also very good for cod in Alaska.
