Henderson Harbor is a great destination if you want to spend a lot of time on the lakefront. The bay provides good fishing and protection from south, west and east winds. You’re a fairly short boat ride to some other awesome bays and out onto the main lake of Lake Ontario. This part of Lake Ontario is known for its excellent smallmouth bass fishing for good numbers of big fish. You can catch a variety of other species too, but smallmouth bass get most of the attention here for many anglers.
