Ketchikan is one of the larger cities in Alaska, although, the population is only around 14,000 people (in 2010). This area is known for the Misty Fjords National Monument, which is a big tourist attraction. There are a number of fishing charters available in Ketchikan. The charters typically target king salmon, coho salmon and halibut with some lingcod and rockfish mixed in.
