Sauger are available in Rainy Lake, so don’t be surprised if you catch some of these fish while fishing for walleye. The average size sauger will be much smaller than the walleye though. Some anglers report seeing several of these fish on their trips and some anglers have never caught a sauger while visiting Rainy Lake.
