Wilson Lake is part of a river system and this system does have walleye and sauger in it. Most anglers don’t come here to fish for walleye or sauger, but you can target these fish and catch some if you know what you’re doing. The colder months of the year will usually be your best odds of finding more walleye and sauger as these fish will usually be found in larger numbers below the Wheeler Dam.
