Welcome to our Upper Peninsula Inland Waters Fishing Home Page

This website is dedicated to just the inland waters of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. There are some popular areas to come visit in this part of the state for a variety of different fish as well as plenty of more remote lakes as well. This part of Michigan is home to some excellent bass fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike and more.

Primary Species of Fish

Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike & Panfish

The Upper Peninsula is huge, so depending on where you are fishing will dictate what species of fish you will be able to target.  However, this area has so many lakes with such good bass fishing.  Most of the smaller lakes up here will have good largemouth bass fishing.  Some will also have smallmouth bass too.  Walleye are available in some of the lakes with some very good walleye fishing available on Lake Gogebic.  Northern pike can be found in many of the Upper Peninsula Michigan inland lakes as well with some big fish potential here too.  Panfish are found in most of the lakes.  Crappie, perch and bluegill are readily available, however, on many of the lakes, you will have to sort through the smaller ones to find some bigger, cleanable fish.
