Kakagi Lake (Crow Lake)

Crow Lake is a clear water trout lake with some world class muskie fishing.  Because of its clear waters, this lake might get a bad rap about being hard to fish at times, however, if you know how to fish clear water, you can experience some awesome fishing for lake trout, northern pike, smallmouth bass and muskie.  There are some trophy sized muskie here as well, which is what attracts many anglers to this lake.

The lake gets minimal fishing pressure due to Lake of the Woods being the main draw in this area, so if you are up for fishing some clear water and are up for chasing down some huge muskie, this lake may be just right for you.

Pipestone Lake Chain

This boat-in chain of lakes provides anglers some very good Fishing.  Close to Nestor Falls, which is famous for being on Lake of the Woods, anglers have the option to fish the Pipestone Lake Chain area for a variety of fish.  Anglers catch trophy muskie, northern pike, smallmouth bass, walleye and lake trout.  All fish are here in good numbers to target and trophy fish are common.

South Narrow Lake

South Narrow Lake is a smaller, narrow lake that is great for fishing when the wind is blowing hard and you want to stay off the big waters.  It is known for having a very good smallmouth bass fishery in its clear waters.  Downsize your line here and use fluorocarbon and you can do really well here for smallmouth bass, especially early in the year.
