Triggerfish Fishing in the Cape San Blas / Port St Joe, Florida Area
There are some offshore fishing charters out of Port St. Joe, Florida, however, it is a good 40 to 50 mile boat ride out to some of the better bottom fishing structures and 75 to 100 miles out if you’re looking to target the pelagic species. For the charters that go out far enough, triggerfish can be caught around the reefs and wrecks. Most of the time, these fish will be caught by anglers who are fishing for grouper and snapper.
