Sheepshead are structure-loving fish known for their bait-stealing skills and distinct black stripes. Found inshore around pilings, jetties, and reefs, these fish feed heavily on crustaceans and are highly sought after for their fine white meat. They’re especially active in late winter and early spring as they gather to spawn.
