Fishing Rod & Reel Recommendations for Perch

Light action spinning rods and reels will get the job done for perch fishing.  An ultra light spinning rod and reel is all you need.  You can go a little heavier if you want, but you don’t need to.  If you are fishing around cover that may have some snags, go to a medium action rod and 10 pound test line and you should be fine.
