The Fish
Lake Michigan is known mostly for its salmon, trout and perch fishing. Most anglers will target these fish out on the main lake. As you get into the bays of Lake Michigan, there is some really good fishing for smallmouth bass, walleye and northern pike. Muskie are available as well in some parts of the lake and there are some huge carp throughout the lake if you want to target them.
