The Adirondacks is a huge mountain range that is the largest protected area in the contiguous United States. You have more than 2,000 miles of hiking trails, over 3,000 lakes and ponds as well as 1,200 miles of rivers available for exploring. Because this area is so large with so many different types of waters to fish, anglers can target a variety of different fish such as largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, trout, landlocked salmon and more.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are part of the larger Appalachian Mountain Range and they run from northern Georgia to southwest Pennsylvania. The majority of the mountain range is found in northern Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. There are so many places to visit in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Anglers experience good fishing for a variety of fish species that are found in large lakes, small lakes, rivers and streams. The Catskill Mountains are located in southeastern part of New York state. This area is known for the Catskill Forest Preserve, which is home to lots of wildlife, ski resorts, miles of hiking trails and some excellent fishing. This area is home to plenty of lakes, rivers, streams and ponds that provide good fishing for a variety of fish species such as largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, pickerel, panfish, brown trout, rainbow trout and brook trout.
Ozark Mountains
The Ozark Mountains are actually a series of plateaus that are located in Northwest Arkansas and they cover most of the southern half of Missouri as well. This area is beautiful and it is home to so many of our featured fishing destinations. You can find plenty of gorgeous lake, rivers and streams in the Ozark Mountains. Poconos Mountains
The Pocono Mountains, or Poconos, is a popular mountain region with forested peaks, lakes and valleys that provide beautiful scenery and plenty of outdoor recreation to keep you busy year round. Anglers have lots of options here with bigger lakes, smaller lakes and some excellent river fishing that extends for miles and miles. There are a variety of fish species to target including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, catfish, panfish, brown trout, brook trout and rainbow trout.
Porcupine Mountains
The Porcupine Mountains, or Porkies, are a group of small mountains spanning the northwestern Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Ontonagon and Gogebic counties. This area is very close to Lake Superior. You will definitely get away from the crowds if you plan a trip to this part of Michigan. There are miles of rivers and streams to go along with some good fishing in the area lakes. Anglers come here to fish for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, trout and a variety of sunfish.

The Smoky Mountains are a mountain range rising along the Tennessee–North Carolina border. There are several tourist destinations in this mountain range and some of them provide some very good fishing opportunities.

Vermont’s Green Mountains
Vermont’s Green Mountains are the peaks that gave the state of Vermont its name. The Green Mountains are full of life with plants, grass, trees and other vegetation. There is plenty of wildlife in these mountains as many people enjoy visiting these mountains year-round. Hiking, fishing and skiing are very popular in the mountains. White Mountains
The White Mountains of Arizona are a mountain range and mountainous region in the eastern part of the state. This area is home to a variety of lakes that offer a tremendous outdoor recreational area for those who enjoy the outdoors.
