Maud Lake is known primarily as a northern pike, largemouth bass, and panfish lake which also has a modest population of relatively large walleye. Suitable spawning habitat is present for all fish except walleye in this lake, so the walleye fishery is maintained by regular stocking. Panfish include bluegill, crappie, rock bass and perch.
