What Type of Fishing Line
Mono is fine, but some anglers do use other types of line. You don’t need to though.
What Pound Test
10 to 12 pound test line is fine. You could go lighter, but you’re fishing the ocean and some bigger fish might take your bait too, so most anglers go a little heavier to prevent the bite-offs.
