Perch fishing can be good in the bays. You just have to find the schools of them. It can be hit or miss here and a lot of anglers don’t target them. The salmon, lake trout and smallmouth bass get the most attention from anglers in this area. For those that do target the perch, it is possible to find a school of them and catch some nice jumbo-sized perch for the livewell.
