Sayner and Star Lake are two communities that make up the the Township of Plum
Lake.  These communities are located just north of St. Germain in the Northwoods of
Wisconsin. This area is located at the headwaters of two drainage basins known as the
Manitowish River and the Wisconsin River.   With over 7,500 acres of water, about 50
named, 95 unnamed lakes, and 31 boat landings in the town of Plum Lake, there is
plenty of room for a day on the water.

Fishing is excellent for a number of species such as muskie, walleye and northern pike.
Don't forget about the largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, perch and other
panfish.
