Manitowish Waters is located northwest of Minocqua and close to the border of
Wisconsin and the upper peninsula in the northwoods of Wisconsin. Manitowish
Waters is a lovely area with pristine lakes and plenty of scenery. The Manitowish
Waters chain of lakes includes ten lakes with over 4,200 acres of connected waters to
enjoy. Boating, fishing and swimming are very popular on the chain. The chain
provides some excellent fishing for walleye, muskie and northern pike. Largemouth
bass, smallmouth bass, crappie and other panfish are also caught in the chain.
