Lake of the Woods is on the
U.S./Canada border in northern
Minnesota, with more than two thirds of
the lake being in Canada. This is one
of the most scenic lakes in the country
with over 65,000 miles of shoreline,
pristine wilderness and tons of wildlife.
Anglers flock to this lake for the

Angle & Islands have a very healthy population of walleye and
muskie as well as a variety of other fish such as smallmouth bass,
northern pike and crappie. The south shore is known for its
trophy walleye and northern pike fishing. Ice fishing is popular on
the south shore throughout the winter.
