The Cadillac area offers some exciting fishing opportunities between the lakes and
nearby rivers. Anglers can catch walleye, perch, northern pike, largemouth and
smallmouth bass, crappie, panfish and rainbow trout in the area. Two of the more
popular lakes are Lake Cadillac and Lake Mitchell. Lake Cadillac covers around
1,120 acres and Mitchell covers over 2,580 acres. Cadillac is deeper with more than
half the lake over 15 feet deep. Almost all of Lake Mitchell is less than 15 feet deep.
Both lakes provide outstanding fishing. There are good numbers of walleye, pike,
perch and bass.
