Venice, Louisiana is a small, unincorporated community located about 75 miles south
of New Orleans. This community was almost completely destroyed by Hurricane
Katrina. The rebuilding process is ongoing, but there is still a lot of work to do in the
area.
Fishing is excellent around Venice, Lousiana. This area is known for its spectacular
offshore fishing for a variety of species. You should be able to find a fishing charter
because there are quite a few that operate out of Venice.
