Kissimmee, Florida is located about 20 miles south of Orlando. Many visitors look for
deals on lodging in Kissimmee and they end up driving about a half hour to get to the
theme parks and the downtown Orlando area. As far as Kissimmee, there are plenty of
lakes to enjoy. Some of the best bass fishing in this area. The Kissimmee Chain of
Lakes consists of 20 lakes that range from 200 acres to 44,000 acres. Some of the top
lakes to fish on this chain are Lake Kissimmee, West and East Lake Toho, Lake
Hatchineha and Lake Cypress. Bass fishing is excellent on the chain with lots of 3 to 5
pound fish and many over 10 pounds.
