Lake Tahoe is a huge fresh water lake located in the Sierra Nevada mountains of the
United States. It lies on the border of California and Nevada, although, about 2/3 of the
shoreline is located in California. It is the second deepest lake in the United States with
a maxium depth of 1,645 feet. The views are spectacular with mountains on all sides
