Lake Perris is located in the mountain-rimmed valley between Moreno Valley and
Perris. The Lake Perris State Recreation Area is very popular among those that enjoy
getting outdoors. Many people can be seen fishing, boating, camping, swimming,
horseback riding and hiking throughout this recreation area during the summer.
There are a variety of fish to catch in Lake Perris. Rainbow trout are stocked regularly
and fishermen can also catch largemouth bass, crappie, catfish and sunfish.
