The medium depth range for spotted bass falls into that 6 to 12 foot range, not quite very shallow, not quite deep water. This are the depths that are great in the spring and good in the fall too. In the summer, you’re going to find more spotted bass deeper, especially in clear water, but at times, these bass will move into these depths to find bait fish during low light conditions.
