Florida Keys  –  Rating 10.0

The Florida Keys are home to some of the best saltwater fishing in the world. With so many species of fish, anglers have so many options here.  The snapper fishing is very good throughout the Keys and there are plenty of fishing charters that target them here.

Sanibel Island  –  Rating 9.5

Located in Southwest Florida, this island is a very popular beach vacation destination.  This area is known for its excellent fishing and there is some very good snapper fishing here as well.

Marco Island  –  Rating 9.5

Located way down south in southwest Florida, Marco Island is an awesome fishing vacation destination.  Anglers target a variety of snapper here.

Destin / Fort Walton Beach  –  Rating 9.5

Located in Northwest Florida, this area is an incredible beach vacation destination.  With all of the water here to fish, anglers have so many options inshore and offshore.  Snapper fishing is very good here and when the red snapper are in season, there are plenty of charters in this area that will target them.

Fort Lauderdale  –  Rating 9.5

Located in southeast Florida, Fort Lauderdale is one of the best offshore fishing destinations in all of Florida.  Anglers come here to fish for many different types of fish and the snapper fishing is also very good here.

Pensacola  –  Rating 9.5

Located in Northwest Florida, this area is a very popular beach vacation destination.  This area is also known for its excellent fishing.  There are a fleet of fishing charters that target snapper as well as other species of fish out of this area.  When the red snapper are in season, most of the offshore boats will be targeting them here.

Panama City Beach  –  Rating 9.5

Located in Northwest Florida, this area is an outstanding beach vacation destination. Anglers target a variety of fish in this area, but when the red snapper are in season, fishing charters and other anglers will usually be out targeting them.  The snapper fishing is very good here.

Gulf Shores, Orange Beach  –  Rating 9.25

Located in Alabama, this is a great beach vacation destination. When the snapper are in season here, most of the charter boats will be targeting them. There are plenty of reefs and wrecks where you can bottom fish for snapper in this area.

Tampa Bay & its Beaches  –  Rating 9.25

Located on the Gulf Coast in Central Florida, The Tampa Bay area has tons of water to fish for so many different species of fish.  The snapper fishing is very good here and you will find plenty of fishing charters available that target them.

Charlotte Harbor  –  Rating 9.25

Located in southwest Florida, this area is famous for its tarpon fishing in the Boca Grande Pass, however, there are plenty of anglers that target the reefs and wrecks for snapper in this area.

Miami  –  Rating 9.0

Located in southeast Florida, Miami is a great beach vacation destination.  With all of the entertainment here, fishing is way down on the priority list for most of its visitors, but the fishing is very good in this part of Florida.  Offshore, the snapper fishing is good and there are many fishing charters that will target them here.
