Sight Fishing
You can often see sheepshead around the docks and pilings in clear water. You can seek out areas to see if there are fish in the area and then come back to them. If you can stay far enough away and the visibility is good, you can stay avoid spooking them and sight fish some live baits to them.
Still Fishing
Most anglers still fish for sheepshead. Find a good spot, cast your bait out and wait for a bite. It is so simple, yet so effective.
Drifting
Drifting can be very effective, especially when fishing larger pieces of structures.
Jigging
Jigging can be effective as well, especially when fishing deeper water and around some larger pieces of structure.
