Planting Ground Lake is a 1,010 acre lake located in Oneida County. It has a maximum depth of 37 feet. Fish include muskie, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. According to the Wisconsin DNR, muskie and walleye are listed as common. All other species of fish are listed as present in this lake. The lake’s water is moderately clear.
