Largemouth bass are definitely secondary here, however, anglers do catch largemouth bass on Lake of the Woods. If you are going to catch some of these fish, it will most likely be around a weedy bay with heavy vegetation or around the docks. If you’re looking to target largemouth bass, this probably isn’t the destination for you, but don’t be surprised if you run into one while fishing for northern pike around the weeds.
