Largemouth bass are definitely a secondary species of fish on Lake of the Woods, however, there are some weedy bays where some largemouth bass can be found on this part of the lake. Don’t expect to find a lot of them, but they do exist and some anglers do report catching them. The pike anglers are the ones that usually run into some largemouth bass since they will usually be casting a variety of lures around the vegetation in all the bays in this area.
