Walleye

Marinette County is home to some awesome walleye fishing every spring as the walleye move up into the Menominee River and Peshtigo River to spawn.  With so many big fish moving into the rivers to spawn, a variety of anglers can target these fish that wouldn’t normally be able to out on the big waters of Green Bay.  You will see so many big walleye caught by anglers in small boats and from shore during the spring.  The big boat anglers still do great here as well and they have more options as they can fish out in Green Bay all season long for some gigantic walleye.  Moving farther inland, anglers fish the rivers, flowages and other lakes for walleye.

Green Bay

Anglers have a lot of options for catching quality-sized fish of so many different species here.  Whether you launch your boat out of the marinas on the lake or the boat ramps in the rivers below the dams, you have a lot of water to fish here and the fishing can be outstanding at times.
