Lake Cumberland has some good fishing available for crappie and bluegill. While panfish are not the main draw to this lake for anglers, if you want to target them, you definitely can. The crappie and bluegill are a lot easier to catch in the spring when they move into the shallows to spawn. Throughout the rest of the year, crappie will be much deeper and the better bluegill will usually be found deeper as well.
