Ninilchik is located on the Kenai Peninsula south of Kenai. This small town attracts plenty of people due to the scenery, wildlife, clams and excellent fishing.
Ninilchik offers excellent salmon and trout fishing in 3 main areas. You have the Cook Inlet, which offers excellent saltwater fishing for salmon and halibut. You also have Ninilchik River and Deep Creek, which provide some very strong salmon runs every year.
