Lake Superior is the largest of the five Great Lakes of North America. It is surrounded by Ontario, Canada to the north and the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. It is the largest freshwater lake in the world by surface area. This lake is extremely popular among fishermen. There are plenty of ports with fishing charters available. Most anglers fish for salmon, trout, walleye, northern pike, perch, muskie and whitefish. The location and time of year will dictate what is biting.
