Nearshore Fishing

The nearshore reefs and wrecks will sometimes hold flounder.  When flounder move from the inshore waters back offshore, some anglers do target them as they move through the passes towards offshore waters.  If you can find some of the nearshore structure that holds some of these flounder, you can experience some good fishing when the timing is right.  Get your baits down near the bottom.  With the heavier currents, you will need heavier weights and most likely some heavier line also since there will be a lot of snags down there.
