Florida Inshore Fishing Tips

Florida is home to some awesome inshore fishing.  Many people come to visit Florida every year and never head out to fish the offshore waters and the fish they catch here are incredible.  Most anglers target redfish and trout inshore, but you can also catch tarpon, snook, sheepshead, grouper, snapper and many other species of fish depending on the time of year and where you are fishing.

You’re going to have a lot of options depending on where you are fishing.  Most of the better areas that anglers will fish inshore are:  passes, bridges, docks, mangroves, around the jetties, in the canals or on the grass flats.  There are other types of areas to fish throughout the many bays in Florida as well.  Take a look below at some of the better inshore fishing destinations.
