Located just north of Delray Beach and south of Palm Beach, Boynton Beach is an excellent beach destination. There is a mall here with plenty of shops and dining. This beach town isn’t as popular as many of the featured beach destinations in the state, but it has everything you need to enjoy some time at the beach. Fishing, boating and just hanging out at the beach are popular here.
Boynton Beach made it into our top fishing destinations because of its easy access to the Atlantic Ocean. The offshore reef and wreck fishing is very good here for a variety of fish such grouper, snapper, cobia, king mackerel, amberjack, goliath grouper and others. The open waters will also hold plenty of other fish such as wahoo, sailfish, tuna and a variety of others. Anglers do well from shore here as well with the beaches as well as pier and jetty fishing too. For more fishing information on this area, take a look at our Boynton Beach fishing tips page.
