St. Germain, Wisconsin is one of the more popular areas to visit in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. There is so much to do here for the outdoorsman with the area lakes and pristine wilderness.
The St. Germain area offers some excellent fishing. Most people spend their time on Big St. Germain Lake and Little St. Germain Lake. You can catch largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskie, crappie, bluegill and perch. The spring is best for fishing as you can target many species in shallower water. In the summer, the fishing is still good and the weather is warm enough for a variety of outdoor activities. This is the perfect time for a family vacation. If you have some time off in the fall, plan a muskie fishing trip. The fishing is excellent in the fall for walleye and muskie, but most anglers come up here in the fall to land a trophy muskie. Take a look at our St. Germain, WI Fishing Tips page for more fishing information.
