Carp


Most anglers do not fish for carp here, but there are some absolute monster carp in the waters of Door County.  The bays will usually be home to some big schools of giant carp in the spring and early summer.  From mid-summer through fall, it may be harder to locate them, but if you can find them, you can have a lot of fun targeting some giants.  If you stumble upon a school of carp, you’ll see lots of carp in the 10 to 20 pound range with bigger fish mixed in too.
