Walleye

Walleye are here in low numbers.  Anglers usually catch them while targeting other species of fish, but some anglers do target them on Table Rock Lake and nearby Bull Shoals Lake.

Lake Taneycomo

Walleye can be found in Lake Taneycomo, however, they are here in low numbers.  Most anglers don’t come here to target walleye, but they may catch an occasional walleye while fishing for other species of fish.

Table Rock Lake

Table Rock Lake is definitely more of a bass lake.  That doesn’t mean that you can’t target some walleye on a trip here.  Most anglers that do target them will usually report better success up closer near the dam.  To learn more, take a look at our Table Rock Walleye Fishing page.

Bull Shoals Lake

For the anglers that target walleye, they are definitely here in catchable numbers on Bull Shoals Lake and some big fish are available too.  Most people don’t go south for walleye, but the fish are here if you want to target them.  With the clear water, fishing is usually much better at low light conditions or at night for walleye.  Trolling is a good way to cover some water on this lake and target walleye.
