Northern pike are opportunistic feeders and they will feed in pretty much all conditions. Fishing after a cold front may be more difficult, but for the most part, these fish are going to eat all day long, so don’t feel like you have to fish the early morning, late evening, during a full moon or during some other type of condition that would make the fishing better. Unlike fishing for largemouth bass or even walleye, if you can find the pike and present a good-looking bait to them, you are going to get some bites.
