Welcome to our Atlantic Salmon Fishing Home Page
Atlantic salmon resemble brown trout with silver to yellowish brown sides and dark spots. They have a slightly forked tail instead of squared-shaped and the adipose fin is not spotted. They are big and powerful. Fish over 40 pounds aren’t uncommon in some bodies of water and the world record is over 75 pounds. The average size fish in most places is around the 8 to 12 pound range.
